Vasil'yevna Anna Chapman is a Russian citizen, who while he lived in
New York, USA arrested with nine others on
27 June 2010, suspected of working for
illegals program spying in
Russia external intelligence service, the SVR. Chapman was born Anna Vasil'yevna Kushchyenko in
Volgograd, according to U.S. authorities, and
her father was employed by the
Russian Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya.
Chapman moved to London in 2000 / 1, working on Netjes, Barclays Bank and apparently a few other companies for short periods. After Anna was arrested in New York, Alex committed media publisher Max Clifford, and sold her story to The Daily Telegraph. She took up residence at 20 Exchange Place, one block from Wall Street in Manhattan's financial district.
Anna is reported to have been together Michel Bittan, a prominent New York restaurant owner. She later described his time in America by Charles Dickens quote, "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times". After her deportation to Russia, echoed Baum said his client had wanted to live in America, and he also said that she was "particularly disturbed" by withdrawing her British citizenship and expulsion from the country.
