Amrita Singh, born February ninth 1958, is an
Indian actress. Amrita's mother,
Rukhsana Sultana, was influential in
launching his daughter's career in
Hindi cinema. Rukhsana Sultana was offended and wrote threatening letters to
Salma Agha, hoping to frighten the
British girl went to

Amrita made her Bollywood debut in 1983 with Betaab, long successful film where she along with debutant Sunny Deol. Amrita made a successful pair in several films, not only with Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt, but also with Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, two leading players in the 1980s.
Amrita gave up acting on a family with actor Saif Ali Khan, who is 12 years younger than her. The couple have two children, a daughter Sara Ali Khan and a son Ibrahim Ali Khan. They separated in 2004 and Amrita Singh now lives with her two children.
